studies in smallness:finished paintings

to do these painting s i feel that i learned a lot. i think the easier part was the color mixing but the harder part was making these paintings look accurate. i think that in the end the paintings came out good i like the way that they turned out. i think that when it came to hi lights they came out good but the harder at was making the right color to create a shadow.

i think this one is the most interesting because it is called a still life but its not actually still. you can see the motion in what the puppies are drinking. it is also interesting because it is not just fruit but it also includes man made objects. the picture is pretty balanced it has 3 puppies and 3 cups and that balances out the picture.
