why oil paint?

oil painting was invented by Huybrecht and Jan eyck, it was made of pigment and linseed oil. i find that even with all of the kinds of art that we have today because it is easy to use. for some it may be harder but in general t is easy to work wit. the mixing is simple and the colors are more accurate and if someone wants to make a correction it is more easily done than with other kinds of paint such as acrylic. there can be layering which make painting look more realistic, and it is also easier to create the highlights and shadows which are an important part of art.
